Our unit this week will be all about red, white, and blue! We will discuss the traditions that we celebrate on the 4th of July, our American flag, and the independence we all share in the USA. Encouraging self-help activities is another objective of the week.
WE WILL BE CLOSED WEDNESDAY, JULY 4TH IN OBSERVANCE OF INDEPENDENCE DAY
JULY 9-13: SEA/OCEAN
All activities this week will revolve around sea and ocean life. We will be learning about the many kinds of creatures found in the sea- jellyfish, octopus, whales, dolphins, shrimp, and crabs to name a few!
JULY 16-20: THE RAINFOREST
The rainforest is always a fun unit. The kids love learning about the exotic animals that live in the forest. We will touch on the importance of the rainforest and tree conservation.
JULY 23-27: THE DESERT
What animals can live in the desert? What do desert homes look like? Can plants grow in the hot, dry desert with little water? All of these questions will be answered this week.
